Apply to the G20 Young Entrepreneurs 2019

May 16th and 17th, 2019 – Fukuoka, Japan

The G20 Young Entrepreneurs Summit will be held in Fukuoka (Japan) from 16 to 17 May 2019 and will be the meeting place for high-potential start-ups and ETM/ETI leaders in their markets in France and abroad.

Japan is one of the G20 countries and is the 3rd largest economy in the world (after the United States and China). The Japanese economy is mainly a service economy where the tertiary sector employs more than two thirds of the working population and accounts for about three quarters of its GDP. Japan is the 4th largest exporting country (after China, Germany and the United States) and the unemployment rate is the lowest in the G20 (2.9% in 2017).

The G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance

As a reminder, the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum was created in 2010 with the aim of bringing together each year, in advance of the political G20, delegations of young entrepreneurs from member countries to share and jointly reflect on a set of solutions for governments.

This Summit, which brings together 400 entrepreneurs from G20 countries (19 countries + EU), aims to:

  • Share common issues around entrepreneurship
  • Develop recommendations that will be submitted to their government through a joint communiqué. These recommendations will be submitted to the political G20 and then to each government of the G20 countries
  • Meet and create business opportunities
